FCS events have a host who can be identified by his/her fish name tag.

Meeting Dates: 2nd Monday of every month

Meeting Time: 6:30 -8:30 pm

*All monthly meetings are "pot luck," bring a dish to share or donations are accepted.

Secular Order of Discalced Carmelite - Fresno Group (on-going)

Meeting Dates: 3rd Saturday of Every Month, 10:30 am - 3 pm

Meeting Location: Shrine of St. Therese, 855 E. Floradora, Fresno

The Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites welcomes you to visit with us at one of our meetings. As people practicing the Catholic Faith, our community members strive to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ within the Catholic Church, according to the tradition and inspiration of the Carmelite Religious Order.

The members of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites are faithful members of the Church, called to live "in allegiance to Jesus Christ" through "friendship with the One we know loves us" and in service to the Chruch. Under the protection of Our lady of Mount Carmel, in the biblical tradition of the prophet Elijah and inspired by the teachings of St. Teresa of Jesus and St. John ofthe Cross, they seek to deepen their Christian commitment received in baptism.

For more information and if you seek membership, please call Cynthia Taylor OCDS at 559-842-4140.
